It is difficult choose the right words to describe the emotional roller coaster that I experienced as we fed the unfortunate souls and listened to their personal stories. These were real people with real families, that for whatever reason, have found themselves broken and on the streets. It was awesome to be able to speak truth into their lives and pray over them. "On the first day of ministry, we stayed at the church and did much needed renovations. The team helped by cleaning the walls of the church, painting the doors, power washing the sidewalks, and fixing up the children's playground. At the end of the day, it looked 100% better. I also loved serving with Trumpet of Truth. It was a humbling experience to feed the homeless under the bridge. I did not realize how much pain and suffering went on in New Orleans.
