Aqua Kickin’ it in NOLA
On Monday we fed homeless under a bridge by the New Orleans mission. I was moved as Spirit lighted upon the kids, my own daughter included.
These kids from Agua team served these oppressed souls, they spoke with them, prayed over them, and just loved on everyone they encountered. Of particular note was a man named Larry. I sat next to him and just tried to carry on a light conversation ultimately asking if there was
anything I could pray with him for. He said yes, he needed some shoes. In that moment I knew that rather than pray only, I could act. I spoke with the director of the team and asked if he thought
a wonderful woman by the name of Mama Jan would have any shoes. She did. Long story short: LARRY GOT SOME NEW KICKS!
Larry saw Jesus’ love manifest for him in a real way as he walked away with some black high tops, a huge grin and eyes brimming will the glow of a soul that realizes: yes, Jesus loves me too! BTW, we prayed a concert of prayers with Larry that day. Aqua GOD loves you!
